Man taken to hospital after assault in Arnold

An investigation has been launched after an assault left a man in hospital.

The incident happened at around 8pm last night (9 July 2022) in Coppice Road, Arnold.

The victim was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre with injuries that are not considered to be life-altering or life-threatening.

A second man received minor injuries in the same incident but did not require hospital treatment.
A scene remains in place while police explore a number of lines of enquiry.

Detective Inspector Daniel Johnstone, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:

“We are currently investigating reports of an assault and would like to speak to anybody who was in the area at the time and may have seen something.

“We believe there were a number of witnesses and I would urge anyone who saw what happened to please come forward.

“We are also keen to trace anyone who was driving in the area and might have dash cam footage that could assist our enquiries.”
