The incident happened on Goldsmith Street.
Nottinghamshire Police said:
‘We were called to a report of a collision involving a pedestrian and a tram in Goldsmith Street, Nottingham, at 2.30pm today.
‘A 60-year-old man has been taken to Queen’s Medical Centre.
‘The tram line was closed but has now reopened.

‘Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to call 101 quoting incident number 467 of 15 June.’
