Man wanted after violent knife attack in St Ann’s arrested

A man wanted in connection with a violent knife attack is now in custody.

The 22-year-old, of no fixed address, was wanted in connection with an incident in Truman Close, St Ann’s, Nottingham, on 26 December 2021.

He failed to attend Nottingham Crown Court on 9 August having been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent, possession of a knife blade in a public place and malicious wounding.

He was also wanted on a recall to prison after failing to attend four probation appointments in relation to previous matters.

Following a media appeal, he was arrested this morning (Tuesday 17 September) at an address in Nottingham and remains in custody.
