Mapperley: 19-year-old sexually assaulted in pub beer garden

Police officers have released images of a man they wish to trace after a woman was sexually assaulted in a pub beer garden.

The incident happened on Monday 6 May at The Woodthorpe Top Wetherspoons pub in Mapperley just before 8pm.

A 19-year-old woman was sitting at a table with her friends when a man allegedly touched her inappropriately and made sexual comments.

Police have now released images of a man that could help them with inquiries.

PC Talisha-Jaye Percival, who is investigating the incident, said: “This behaviour is completely unacceptable, and we are determined to catch the person responsible.

“The teenager was just enjoying drinks with her friends before she was approached and then sexually assaulted in the pub beer garden.

“We are following a number of lines of inquiry and are calling on the public’s help to identify the man in these pictures.

“We believe he could help us further our investigation.
“Do you know the man in the pictures? Are you the man in the pictures? Please get in touch as soon as possible.”
