Police were called at 3.12am on Friday 19 December after four masked men entered the Old Reindeer, in Main Street, Edingley, and demanded money.

“This was a frightening experience for the victim who was confronted in the middle of the night by multiple masked intruders.

“We are determined to track those intruders down and are currently pursuing a number of lines of inquiry in our efforts to identify them.

“In addition to the local residents we have already spoken to, we are keen to hear from anyone else who saw or heard anything suspicious.

“We would especially like to hear from anyone who noticed a group of men at around this time who were unknown to them or otherwise acting in a way that was out of the ordinary.”

Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting incident 36 of 19 December 2025.
