Masked men steal 50 mobiles from West Bridgford shop – police seek BMW used in raid

The offenders fled the scene in a black BMW convertible which officers believe may have been stolen.

Police officers investigating a robbery in West Bridgford are seeking the public’s help to trace a car which was involved in the incident.

Two men wearing face coverings entered the Carphone Warehouse store in Loughborough Road at about 10.35am on Thursday (11 April 2019).

They threatened staff and demanded for tills to be opened.

They stole about 50 mobile phones, a small quantity of cash and a personal mobile phone and wallet belonging to one of the victims.

No-one was hurt during the incident although the victims were left very shaken by what happened.

The offenders fled the scene in a black BMW convertible which officers believe may have been stolen.

The men are black, about 6ft 2ins tall and of muscular build. They were wearing dark clothing and had local accents.

Our enquiries are ongoing and we’re appealing for anyone who has any information about the offenders or the BMW they escaped in to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 249 of 11 April 2019, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
