MasterChef contestant Louisa Ellis to open popup fine dining restaurant in Lady Bay

West Bridgford-based chef Louisa Ellis describes her cooking style as ‘being led by flavour, seasonal produce and ingredients’.

Louisa was seen on TV on MasterChef – The Professionals during the 2017 series, where she achieved the incredible accolade of reaching the final three.

Then, three years later taking the crown and winning MasterChef The Professionals rematch in 2020.

Louisa is also the only woman representing the Central region in this year’s Great British Menu.

Other achievements include being named Midlands Chef of the Year in 2022, along with judging the prestigious Nestle Toque D’or for three years running.

The old church on Trent Boulevard in Lady Bay will be the premises for the new venture called Destination105. It opens in Spring 2024 and a firm date hasn’t been published yet.

The church at 105 Trent Boulevard has been home to a few different businesses over the last ten years or so, including a coffee shop, a cycle business and a pizza cafe.

Louisa also operates a private dinner party and dining service, where customers can book her to chef at special events at their own home for a minimum of six people.
