Nottingham Forest defender Alexander Milosevic has been included in the Sweden squad for their upcoming 2020 European Championship qualifiers against Malta and Spain.
Milosevic called up for International duty with Sweden
The 27-year-old impressed in a Forest shirt after signing in the January transfer window and his performances have been enough to earn a call-up into Janne Andersson’s latest squad.
Milosevic has received seven previous caps for his country, the last of which came in January for a friendly against Iceland, and the defender is delighted to return to international duty.
He said: “I’m really happy to have been called up to the squad for these two matches. I had a really positive second half of the season at Forest where the supporters made me feel incredibly welcome and I’m delighted to be in the squad.
“It is always a huge honour to be called up to play for my country and I’m looking forward to seeing all the boys again. We’ve got two tough matches, particularly the game in Spain, but I’m feeling fit and ready to go.”
