A police neighbourhood beat team conducted a speed operation in Sherwood, Bestwood and Rise Park due to the increasing reports and concerns from residents about speeding motorists.
Police said:
‘It was a very productive morning with numerous residents who approached us to show their appreciation to what we were doing.
‘Here are the results for the below streets we were on:
Brownlow Drive – 7 motorists stopped and advised and 2 tickets issued.

Queens Bower Road – Remained in the area for over half an hour and had no issues.
Beckhampton Road – Remained in the area for over half an hour and had no issues.
Haydn Road – 5 motorists stopped and advised.
Perry Road – 1 motorist stopped and advised.
