Officers are seeking the public’s help to assist with an ongoing investigation after a motorcyclist died following a collision.
Emergency Services were called to Norwell Lane, Cromwell, Newark, at around 6:40 pm on Saturday (10 June).
Despite efforts of members of the public and emergency services, a 21-year-old man was sadly pronounced dead shortly afterwards.
Residents or anyone in the area at the time are now being urged to come forward to help investigators piece together exactly what happened.
Collision Investigator Georgina Luke, of Nottinghamshire Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said:
“Specially trained officers are supporting this man’s family at this incredibly difficult time, and I want to appeal to the public to come forward if they were in the area on Saturday evening or have any information about what happened.
“I also want to thank the members of the public who provided assistance to the motorcyclist and to those who have already come forward with information”.
