A man has been seriously injured following a collision between a motorbike and a car.
Officers were called to Wheatcroft Island, Melton Road, West Bridgford, on Thursday (10 March) at around 3pm, after receiving reports of a collision.
The 54-year-old rider remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Melton Road remained closed for some time but fully reopened at around 11pm after immediate enquires on the road had finished.Police are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has any dash-cam footage to come forward to help with their investigations.
Sergeant Mark Baker, of Nottinghamshire Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “We are working to understand exactly what happened in this incident and would like to urge anyone who may have witnessed the collision to come forward.“We would like to thank road users and the public for their patience as the road remained closed for some time while officers carried out their investigations.
“I would urge anyone who may have seen the collision or has any footage to contact us as it may help us piece together exactly what happened.”
