Police have released an image of a man who may have vital information that could help a murder investigation.
He is believed to have witnessed the incident which led to the death of 20-year-old Keany Kristal Kissingou-Mabiala following a sustained attack in Milton Street in Nottingham city centre at around 1.15pm on Monday (12 October).
Officers are appealing for the man, or anyone who recognises him, to get in touch as soon as possible.
Detective Inspector Steve Wragg, who is leading the investigation, said: “Extensive CCTV enquiries have been carried out as part of the investigation and we have identified this man who we believe witnessed the attack.
“We have not yet spoken to him and would urge him to come forward as he may have vital information that could help the enquiry.”
Mazin Abdelmonim, 19, of Midland Way, Radford, appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Thursday 15 October) charged with murder and possession of a bladed article in connection with the incident.
A 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at the same court charged with murder, possession of a bladed article and possession of cannabis.
They were both remanded in custody to appear at Nottingham Crown Court today (Friday 16 October).
