Gardens up and down Musters Road will be opening after a two year absence and it’s going to be better than ever.
More gardens, more tea and cake – more things to see, do and enjoy!
It’s all happening next Sunday 12 June.
Katy Allen, the organiser said: “We can’t wait to meet up with our friends up and down the road and all the people who come from far and wide for a fun afternoon.
“It’s a real community event, involving children, parents and staff at Jesse Gray School, as well as all the individual gardeners.”
As before, the pleasure of the event will be in the variety of gardens, big and small, sunny and shady, neat, tidy or more relaxed – every garden has its charms!
To add to the family fun, there will be a children’s trail and tea, home-made cake and soft drinks will be served at various venues.
The event kicks off at 1.00pm.
Price of entry for adults is a very modest £4 (no charge for children) and all proceeds will go to the Friary, based on Musters Rd. which has been helping the homeless and vulnerable for over 30 years.
