Mystery after vehicle stolen from A52 in Rushcliffe AFTER being involved in a collision

Officers are appealing for witnesses in relation to the theft of a vehicle after a collision.

The blue Peugeot 107 was involved in a road traffic collision the previous day.

A spokesperson for police in Rushcliffe said:

‘The vehicle had been involved in a RTC on the A52 on the evening of the 4th December and had been left on the side of the A52 between Elton and Bottesford.

‘The vehicle was awaiting collection by the owners’ insurance company, however on the morning of Sunday 5 December the vehicle had been stolen from this location.

Anyone who witnessed this incident or has dashcam footage of this vehicle being recovered or moved from this location are urged to make contact with Nottinghamshire Police by calling 101 and stating incident number 330 of 07/12/2021.
