Engineers are continuing to work as quickly as possible to restore a full tram service to Hucknall following an incident at the Bulwell stop last week.
Trevor Stocker, NET Head of Operations, commented: “Trams to Hucknall are currently terminating at Wilkinson Street and we would like to apologise to customers for this ongoing disruption, and thank them for their continued patience and understanding.
“Specialist equipment is now on site to help move a damaged tram, and once the line is clear our engineers can complete repairs to tracks and other infrastructure before restoring power to this section of the network.”
Although this work is expected to take until the end of the week to complete, NET will make every effort to restore services as soon as it can, and customers are advised to follow its social media channels for further updates.
In the meantime, buses serving destinations between Wilkinson Street and Hucknall are accepting tram tickets, and further details can be found on the NET website, here.
