New Co-op opens in Nottinghamshire town

Central Co-op has just opened its newest store in Tuxford, Nottinghamshire, welcoming local customers and Members to the store with a launch event, attended by local schoolchildren and Newark & Tuxford food bank, who also received a donation from the store on the day.

The store features the same quality that customers and Members have come to expect from Central Co-op, including Food to Go, products supporting Our Malawi Partnership, Fairtrade goods, a Bakery, COOK frozen ranges, and much more.

Customers and Members can also make use of the disabled and parent parking, delivery lockers, and electric vehicle charging, as a part of Central Co-op’s purpose of creating a sustainable Society for all. This also extends to the bike repair station, encouraging cyclists to come and use it to repair their bikes for no additional cost.

Energy is also a big part of this purpose, which is why Central Co-op is happy to launch Tuxford with 124 solar panels, providing greener alternatives for energy as a part of its long-term partnership with Sol PV Group.

Members can experience extra savings at the store via Member pricing on over 100 items, ranging from everyday essentials including milk, eggs, and bread to cleaning products, toiletries, pet products, and more. This is part of Central Co-op’s commitment to bringing value to Members, all of which can be found on the Membership App.
