The defibrillator is now registered with East Midlands Ambulance service and can be found on the corner of One Stop convenience store next to the Test Match Pub.
After many months of hard work between the traders in Gordon Road and Gordon Square, local Councillors and Abbey Road Community Association.
West Bridgford now boasts another defibrillator for emergency use.
The installation was a real team effort, with Abbey Road Community Association facilitating the payments towards the project and funding from local councillors and traders.
Special acknowledgment to Councillor Penny Gowland (Abbey Ward) who provided a significant amount towards the cost, supported by further donations from One Stop, Individuals, Hair Tec & Co., Cook, Warren’s Barber Shop, and Lutterell Hall to name a few.
As well as providing a valuable life saving piece of equipment to the community, traders in Gordon Road will continue to work closely with the council on further projects, following on from the successful spring event earlier in the year.
