The Ruddy Fine Distillery will be making their first appearance at the West Bridgford Farmers Market this Saturday (22 August), selling their acclaimed London Dry Gin and recently launched Summer Berries Pink Gin.

This Ruddington based craft gin company was founded by local couple Cheryl Stretton and Rory Thorpe, who met when they both lived on Davies Road in Bridgford and shared a passion for all things Gin.

After learning the processes and tinkering around in their kitchen with different flavors as a hobby, they decided to take the plunge and turn their hobby into a business and ‘Ruddy Fine Gin’ was born.

One of the success stories of lockdown, this break from work gave them the chance to really bring things on and they launched their first London Dry Gin on the 4th July at the Ruddington Village Market and the response has been incredible.

“It has been amazing, the support we have had from the local community has been incredible.  Nottingham’s love of Gin has been really evident and in just 6 weeks we have not only managed to sell over 700 bottles of our zesty London Dry Gin but we have also launched our deliciously refreshing Summer Berries Pink Gin and that is flying out as well” said Cheryl

“We can’t thank the people of Nottingham enough for their kind words and support and we are really excited to be standing our first market in West Bridgford this weekend, as this is where it all began.”

Make sure you visit the Croquet Lawn on Saturday morning and sample their delicious gins and support this fantastic local artisan producer.
