The family-owned home and furniture retailer Shackletons is continuing its expansion with the launch of a brand-new 10,000 sq ft store at Castle Marina Retail Park in Nottingham later this month.
The new showroom is due to open on 22 August and marks the company’s latest milestone following the successful opening of Shackletons Fox Valley in north Sheffield last year.
The Nottingham store will occupy the ground floor of a prominent unit at the busy retail park, sharing space with Bensons for Beds and joining a strong line-up of national retailers, including DFS, Wren Kitchens, Furniture Village, Homesense and Costa Coffee.
Shackletons was founded nearly 30 years ago by brothers David and Paul Shackleton and has grown from its roots in the Ribble Valley to a multi-site home and lifestyle brand known for its friendly service, product knowledge and beautifully curated ranges.
Focused on stylish, high-quality sofas, armchairs and lounge furniture, the new store will complement the existing home offer at Castle Marina.
Shoppers will be able to explore stunning ranges from leading brands, including Nest Space and Calia Italia, alongside Shackletons’ signature selection of lamps, artwork and rugs.
Nest Space and Calia Italia bring a distinctive blend of contemporary design and exceptional craftsmanship to the new Nottingham showroom.
Danish-inspired Nest Space is known for its clean, modern aesthetic and thoughtful approach to living spaces, offering beautifully made sofas and lounge pieces that balance comfort with understated style.
Calia Italia is one of Italy’s most respected furniture makers and adds a touch of European luxury to the store’s line-up. Renowned for its meticulous craftsmanship and innovative design heritage, Calia Italia creates sofas and lounge furniture that combine great design with inviting comfort.
The opening will create around five new full-time jobs in the area, with the store led by Area Manager Louise Fearnehough.

The store will officially open with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10am on Saturday 22 August.
