There is a flood warning still in force:
Env Agency: ‘River levels remain high at the Torksey river gauge as a result of Storm Henk.
‘Consequently, flooding is expected to continue. Areas most at risk are access roads and properties in Girton.
‘The A1133 and High Street has flooded, which has isolated the village.
‘No further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. We expect river levels to remain high until Monday 08/01/24. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are patrolling watercourses in the area and liaising with emergency services.’
