Nine more coronavirus deaths at Nottingham hospitals takes total to 81

The sad news was announced by Nottingham University Hospitals today, Friday 10 April.

Dr Keith Girling, Medical Director at Nottingham University Hospitals said: “Sadly we can confirm that a further nine patients have died having tested positive for COVID-19.

“Regrettably that means that 81 COVID-19 positive patients we were caring for have sadly died since the beginning of March.”

“The patients were aged 30 and 95, and died on the 7^th and 8^th April.”

“The families have been informed and our thoughts and condolences are with them at this difficult and distressing time.”
