Police to increase patrols on a West Bridgford road after nine cars damaged in one night

Nottinghamshire Police officers are investigating after nine parked cars were damaged after two offenders were reportedly running over the roofs and causing damage to their wing mirrors.

The incidents on 20 March between 10-10.30pm has led to damage to vehicles parked on North Road.

Neighbourhood Inspector Craig Berry’s local team will be patrolling again this coming Easter weekend to deal with any antisocial behaviour or crime.

He said: “Local officers continue to work hard by engaging with residents to offer reassurance that we are doing everything we can to stop these types of incidents.

“The team will be completing a number of nights of dedicated patrols in uniform and in plain clothes using cycles as well as vehicles.
