No tram service in Nottingham because of strike over pay

Union GMB has taken the action and no service are operating. 

Services are excepted to resume at 6 am on Sunday 7 November.

NET said:

‘Due to industrial action by the GMB union, NET is unable to operate any services throughout Saturday 6th November.

‘In response, a range of measures have been put in place by NET to help reduce inconvenience to customers. These include the acceptance of tram tickets on Trent Barton’s Rainbow One, Threes and Indigo buses as well as all Nottingham City Transport services.

‘We are sorry for the inconvenience for customers, and we will resume services from 06.00 on Sunday morning.

‘The complimentary shuttle bus for the Nottingham Forest match will operate as normal from outside Nottingham Station before and after the game.

‘Our NET Travel Centre on King Street will also be closed today and re-open Monday 8th November at 08:00.’
