Nottingham café forced to close after burglary

Officers have released an image of a man they wish to trace after a café was burgled forcing it to close over the Christmas period.

The incident happened at Toast café in Derby Road on Saturday 20 December at around 2am.

The offender has used a large breeze block to smash his way inside the building and then stolen a small amount of change from the till, a bank card chip and pin reader and 12 candles.

They stole a Secret Santa present for one of the staff, which contained writing accessories such as a notepad and pens.

The incident forced the business to close over some of the Christmas period due to the damage caused.
