Nottingham city Covid cases reach over 380 per 100,000 residents – Rushcliffe at 318 – see your area

Figures released today show the increasing extent of the virus in Nottingham city and Rushcliffe borough. 

Figures released by a joint data unit at Nottinghamshire County Council and Nottingham City County show Nottingham city has the highest Covid-19 figures in Nottinghamshire, that is the rate per 100,000 resident population.

Data up to and including 30 June shows that the city has seen 1,268 cases in last seven days and has a rate per 100,000 residents of 380.9 cases. 1,902 cases have been recorded over the last fourteen days.

In Rushcliffe data up to 30 June shows that the borough has recorded 380 cases in the last seven days, with 582 in the last fourteen days. Its rate per 100,000 residents is currently 318.8 up to the same date.

The age of cases throughout the whole county shows that since 1 June 2021 92% of cases are in the under 50s, with 69% of cases in age under 30s.

Rushcliffe’s rate is the second highest among local authorities in Nottinghamshire.
