A man has been taken to hospital after a collision involving a bus and a pedestrian.
Emergency services were called to Upper Parliament Street, Nottingham city centre, shortly after 2.30pm this afternoon.
A man in his 60s was in collision with the bus outside the Theatre Royal and has been taken to hospital. His condition is not yet known.
The road has been closed for detailed investigations to be completed at the scene.
Inspector Richard Guy, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “We are currently investigating the circumstances of this collision and would like to speak to anybody who saw what happened. Investigations are continuing at the scene and traffic restrictions will be lifted once these have been completed.”
