Several Nottingham City Transport (NCT) routes will be affected by diversions, stop suspensions and ongoing works during the week beginning Monday 10 November 2025.
Passengers are advised to allow extra time for journeys and check live updates before travelling.
Westdale Lane – overnight closures
From Monday 10 to Saturday 15 November, Westdale Lane will close nightly between 8pm and 5.30am for roadworks.
Lilac 25 / 25B services will divert via Main Road, Arnold Lane and Mapperley Plains in both directions.
All stops along Westdale Lane will be closed during these hours.
Sherborne Road (Broxtowe/Strelley)
A full-time road closure continues until Friday 28 November.
Turquoise 78 buses will divert both ways along Rosslyn Drive, Broxtowe Lane and Coleby Road. Several stops on Minver Crescent and Broxtowe Lane will not be served.
Stotfield Road (Aspley/Bilborough)
Pink 28 buses cannot serve Stotfield Road while ongoing works take place. Passengers should use the stop on Brindley Road (Birchover Road) instead.
Rosthwaite Close (Gamston – Green 6 towards City)
The Rosthwaite Close stop remains closed. Passengers are advised to use Herons Court instead.
Porchester Road (Mapperley/Carlton Valley)
Two restrictions affect the Blue 39 route:
The Porchester Road stop (towards Carlton Valley) is closed from 8 November – use Thorneywood Mount Topor Prospect Road instead.
The Longbeck Avenue stop near The Punchbowl remains closed; there is no temporary stop, please use Morley Road.
Hoewood Road (Snape Wood)
The Bardney Drive stop is closed on the Yellow 69 / 69A services towards Snape Wood.
Dunkirk (QMC area)
Grey 53 / 54 / 53B / 54B services towards Arnold will not stop at the University East Entrance to reduce delays. Passengers should board at QMC Forecourt or Showcase Cinemas.
Biogas bus refuelling operations
NCT continues daytime vehicle swaps for Lilac, Orange, Red and Turquoise lines (24, 25, 25B, 27, 35, 36, 44, 44A, 77).
Customers may occasionally be asked to change buses at Parliament Street, Milton Street or Canal Street.
