Barbra Hassack passed away at her home on Sunday Nov 29th at the age of 55.
She was an Assistant Practioner at Nottingham CityCare At Home Clinical Team and had been with Nottingham CityCare for 19 years.
She had tested positive for COVID on Monday 23rd.
She was a resident of Strelley.
Lyn Bacon, Chief Executive of Nottingham CityCare said:
‘We are heartbroken at the loss of such a valued, popular and respected member of our team. Barbra, Bab’s to her friends, worked with care and compassion to support our community. Like so many people working in healthcare her first priority was for others, and she made us proud by her example each day.
‘To have lost a treasured colleague, who has been with us for more than 19 years, has left us all deeply saddened. We are all thinking of Bab’s and her family, friends and colleagues, and will do everything we can to help them in this very difficult time.’
Barbra’s sister, Patricia Hodgkinson said:
Bab’s was a very special person, full of enthusiasm and kindness. She brought laughter and happiness to everyone who knew her, and leaves behind a sister and family who will miss her dearly.
