Police are investigating after a customer’s coat was snatched as she sat in a Nottingham coffee shop.
CCTV shows the victim sat in Starbucks, in South Parade, Nottingham, with her coat on the back of a stool.
The footage shows a woman approach the stool before snatching the £250 coat and running out of the premises.
The victim ran after the thief but was unable to stop her.
The incident happened shortly before 7pm on 21 January.
Anyone with information about the offender is asked to come forward.
PC Ben Harwood, who is leading the investigation, said:
“This was a brazen theft and left the victim feeling very distressed.
“We are determined to catch the person responsible and to assist us with our inquiries, we are urging anyone who recognises the thief to get in touch with us as soon as possible.
“If you know who they are, we would ask you to get in contact as soon as possible.”
