Nottingham drug dealer jailed for 21 months

A Nottingham man who admitted possessing with intent to supply cannabis has been sentenced to 21 months in prison.

25-year-old Stivel Bridges of Gilpet Avenue, St Ann’s, Nottingham appeared at Nottingham Crown Court on Friday 15 March 2019.

He pleaded guilty to two counts of possessing the controlled class B drug with intent to supply.

Officers executed a search warrant at his home address and located a vast quantity of drugs and other items linked to drug dealing on 16 February 2018.

After a number of months of investigating Bridges was seen and arrested on 16 January 2019 where he was found in possession of further bags of cannabis, scales and deal bags.

PS Lisa Jones said: “We will not tolerate the use or supply of illegal drugs in Nottinghamshire and we aim to root out anyone who might be involved in it and bring them before a judge.”
