West Bridgford’s Nottingham Emmanuel School, part of Archway Learning Trust, is celebrating another successful year of A-level results, with some of its best outcomes in recent years.
The Nottingham sixth-form provider, which was rated Good by Ofsted in 2025, has secured an impressive 94.3 per cent pass rate, with 18.6 per cent of students achieving grades A*-A and 64.8 per cent of students achieving grades A*-C.
Its Chemistry department is also marking a year of phenomenal results, with 50 per cent of its cohort achieving grades A*-A.
An impressive 74 per cent of its students will now be attending their first-choice university.
Notable mentions go to:
– Jonathan Down, who has achieved 5 A*s in the following subjects: Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry, Computer Science and EPQ, and is off to the University of Oxford to study Computer Science
– Mikhail Ul-Hassan, who has achieved 4 A*s in the following subjects: Chemistry, Maths, Physics and EPQ, as well as a B in Further Maths, and will attend the University of Oxford to study Engineering
– Bethan Lowe, who has achieved 2 A*s in Biology and Psychology and an A in Chemistry. She will now attend the University of Nottingham to study Veterinary Medicine and Surgery
– Mehdi Yallas, who achieved 3 As in Biology, Maths and Chemistry and will now attend the University of Sunderland to study Medicine
– Salman Mahmood, who has achieved 3 As in Biology, Maths and Chemistry and is off to the University of Nottingham to study Medicine
– Lily McGuire, who has achieved 3 As in Biology, Maths and Chemistry and will now attend the University of Sheffield to study Medicine
