At The Nottingham Emmanuel School Sixth Form our strong sense of community and high level of aspiration support all students in achieving their full potential.
Wednesday, October 12th – 7pm
Smaller class sizes and a commitment to the very best pastoral care enable students to excel in their academic studies and to grow in their character and personal development.
We are tremendously proud of our continued academic success and each year the number of students achieving the ultimate A* grade at A level continues to rise.
Consequently, a significant number of our students have gone on to obtain places at the most prestigious national and international university destinations; from Cambridge in the UK to Rhodes College, an Ivy League university in the USA.
To complement academic commitments, our Sixth Form students take part in a wide range of enrichment programmes which form an integral part of the Sixth Form’s distinctively Christian ethos.
These include volunteering as mentors and teaching assistants in primary schools across Nottingham, volunteering to serve on international projects in Ghana and Sri Lanka and undertaking career experiences with leading businesses.
Sixth Form students at The Nottingham Emmanuel School are also encouraged to take positions of responsibility in the wider school community, whether working with the House or Chaplaincy teams, by becoming prefects or being elected to serve as Head Boy or Head Girl.
We are delighted to welcome Year 11 students and their families to experience our distinctive provision at our forthcoming Sixth Form Open Evening, taking place at 7.00pm on Wednesday 12 October 2016.
