Blue Monday Events started in 2004 with Founder and Managing Director Rory Thorpe, being at the forefront of the development.
After going from strength-to-strength due to their ‘Failure Is Not An Option’ ethos, Blue Monday has become the go to for all event needs in the Midlands and beyond.
Anything from private parties needing a little something extra to corporate dinners launches, right through to the creation of amazing temporary facilities for major sporting and other events. Blue Monday Events were also one of the pioneers of the Silent Auction fundraising method within the UK. Since their beginnings they have raised millions for a variety of charities and worthy causes across the UK and into Europe, using their super sustainable web- based auction platform and planting trees for every item won!
As well as delivering countless Client events during their time, Blue Monday was also contracted to oversee the construction of the largest three-storey temporary structure ever build in the UK for London 2012 and helped create and run one of London’s most versatile events venues, Evolution London in Battersea Park.
Both fascinating projects to have been part of, working with amazing Client teams to deliver truly memorable experiences.

In recognition of that support and hard work, Blue Monday threw a big Cuban-themed celebration for over 100 current and former staff, suppliers and clients at Revolución de Cuba in Nottingham city centre recently. A night full of mouth-watering food, and delicious drinks was enjoyed by all with the hardcore dancing until the early hours. It was also a great opportunity to reward some of our longest serving members of staff for their loyalty and commitment.
