Nottingham expands £50 shopping voucher offer to more residents – deadline midnight Friday

There are just a few more days for Nottingham residents struggling during the pandemic to claim £50 supermarket vouchers.

The City Council is providing the vouchers through the Government’s Covid Winter Grant Scheme, and has expanded the criteria to allow any city residents who receive council tax support to apply.

Anyone who has already applied once can also now apply for a second voucher. But applications close at midnight this Friday and the vouchers are being issued on a first-come, first-served basis. People eligible for the vouchers can apply for them here: https://www.nottinghamcity.gov.uk/coronavirus-covid-19/covid-winter-grant-scheme/.

If anyone in receipt of council tax support is struggling to complete the online form, they can call Customer Services on 0115 915 5555 with their council tax account number and they can complete the form on their behalf.

Food banks and community groups are also there to make sure people don’t go without – click on postcodes or use the map for local information or call free 0800 458 4114.
