Rushcliffe Borough Council’s Planning Committee will meet on Thursday July 28 at 2.30pm to consider an application from Nottingham Forest on its plans for amendments to The City Ground and associated residential development.
The public meeting will be streamed live on the Council’s YouTube channel at with the application the only item of business to be discussed and expected to last at least two hours.
It will take place in the Council Chamber at the Council’s Rushcliffe Arena site on Rugby Road in West Bridgford where there will be seating available for up 100 attendees.
The Council’s planning application report recommends approval of the application and will be available on the Council’s website at www.rushcliffe.gov.uk as soon as possible.
The Planning Committee is formed of 11 Borough Councillors who make decisions on relevant applications including those larger in scale, such as the club’s submission.
As with all planning applications that require consideration by the committee, planning officers present a report containing their recommendation.
Guidelines outlining who can speak at the meeting will also be announced soon. These include objector(s), relevant Rushcliffe Borough Council ward councillors and club representative(s) as the applicant.
Debate among the committee members will then take place and a vote taken on the application’s outcome.
