Nottingham house raid leads to cocaine and heroin finds

Police seized Class A drugs and have charged a suspect following a raid on a Nottingham home.

Officers from the force’s County Lines team executed a warrant in Brewsters Road, St Ann’s, around 7.45am on Thursday (26 June).

They found cocaine and heroin, cash, multiple mobile phones and high-value clothing and shoes.

Markel Beckford, aged 20, of Brewsters Road, has been charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine and heroin.

He appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Friday (27 June) and was remanded in custody until his next appearance at Nottingham Crown Court on 25 July 2025.

Police Constable Ryan Millington, of the County Lines team, said:

“The warrant is part of an ongoing investigation and I’m pleased this enforcement has led to a suspect being placed before the courts.

“I would like to thank all the police teams who worked together to carry out the raid and help us secure such a successful outcome.

“Class A drugs destroy lives across our neighbourhoods and spread misery among the most vulnerable people in our communities, so our proactive police work to disrupt this illegal trade continues.”
