Nottingham in Fashion is returning to the city with a week-long event to showcase the latest Spring/Summer 2019 trends and collections that are available from a range of retailers in Nottingham city centre.
The It’s in Nottingham campaign, organised by Nottingham Business Improvement District (BID), starts on 26 April and there will be various fashion shows and hair and beauty demonstrations taking place at businesses around the city.
These include a series of fashion showcase events at Marks & Spencer on 26 and 27 April and then again the following weekend – 3 and 4 May; a fashion event at Gigi Bottega, Flying Horse Walk on Sunday 28 April from 1pm to 4pm; a catwalk fashion show at Jigsaw on Thursday 2 May, 6.00pm – 8.30pm; Kiehl’s glow skin masterclass on Thursday 2 May from 6pm to 7pm; Spring/Summer 19 menswear collection launch at Remus Uomo on Friday 3 May 6.30pm – 9pm; GHD hair demonstrations at Supercuts, intu Victoria Centre throughout the day on Friday 3May; an Instagrammable style workshop at John Lewis & Partners on 4 May from 11am -12.30pm and House of Fraser will be presenting key beauty looks on 8 May from 6pm – 7.30pm.
Other special events include Jazz on the Grass at Jamie’s Italian on Thursday 2 May from 6pm until midnight when guests can kick back after a hard day’s shopping to enjoy live jazz, an outdoor cocktail bar and barbeque.
There will be an exclusive screening of the ultimate fashion film – Breakfast at Tiffany’s, at Broadway on Saturday 4 May at 1pm when goody bags and treats will be on offer for guests to enjoy.

In addition, people can head to Optical Express on Lister Gate throughout the week for a chance to win prizes and they can also try their luck at cracking the safe at Jack Wolfskin in The Exchange on Saturday 4 May from 12 pm – 5 pm.
And that’s not all. A glossy fashion and beauty magazine has been produced which is available to pick up from participating businesses around the city as well as at Nottingham Information Centre. It has pages dedicated to where to shop this season’s biggest trends and a competition in partnership with intu Victoria Centre to win a Spring/Summer wardrobe worth £1,000.
The magazine also features a guide and an illustrated fashion map to show where all the events are taking place during Nottingham in Fashion as well as a page dedicated to all the exclusive offers that will be available in the city centre during the campaign.
25,000 copies of the 28 page fashion and beauty magazine are being distributed to homes around the region and an online version of the magazine is also available at www.itsinnottingham.com/infashion.
