Nottingham man in court charged with three burglaries

Ward was remanded in custody and is next set to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on 29 October 2021.

A man has appeared in court charged with three burglaries.

Raymond Ward, aged 28, from Beaconsfield Street, Hyson Green, appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Saturday (9 October 2021).

The burglary charges relate to the theft of a television from an address in Beaconsfield Street, at around 9.35pm on Tuesday (5 October 2021), and further thefts of televisions from two properties in Castle Boulevard, Lenton, on 23 September 2021.

Ward was remanded in custody and is next set to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on 29 October 2021.

Detective Constable David Thornton, from Nottinghamshire Police, said: “The force treats all reports of burglary seriously and continues to work tirelessly all year round to prevent incidents from happening in the first place.

“Members of the public can have faith that reports will be investigated and we will relentlessly pursue individuals believed to be responsible for these sort of upsetting crimes.”
