  • Resurfacing works will take place on the northbound side. A contraflow will be in place, meaning traffic travelling in both directions will use one side of the road while the other is being resurfaced.
  • There will be 4-way temporary traffic lights at the junction of Queens Drive/Crossgate Drive/Robin Hood Way.
  • Tottle Road will be closed. A signed diversion will be in place for alternative access to Riverside Retail Park, Travelodge, Riverside Farm, and other businesses.
  • All bus stops on Queens Drive from Crossgate Drive to and including Tottle Road will not be in use. The nearest bus stops outside the working area are on Electric Avenue, Robin Hood Way, and Queens Drive near Enterprise Way.
  • There will be no right turn from Queens Drive into Riverside Way. A signed diversion will be in place.

Phase 2 (12 to 15 November)

  • Resurfacing works will take place on the southbound side. Contraflow in place.
  • All bus stops on Queens Drive from Crossgate Drive to Tottle Road will not be in use. The Tottle Road bus stop will be available.

Phase 3 (16 to 29 November)

  • Installation of anti-skid material and traffic signal timing equipment on and within the new road surface. Lane closures will be in place on the approach to traffic signals only.
