Drivers are being warned of a series of roadworks, closures, parking restrictions and temporary traffic lights across Nottingham over the coming weeks, with some schemes continuing into the summer.
The works include long-running National Highways restrictions, utility repairs, resurfacing schemes and temporary closures on residential and main roads across the city.
Parking restrictions remain in place on Woodside Road, between Derby Road and University Boulevard, until Sunday 31 May as part of National Highways works.
Road closures and parking bay suspensions are also in place in Thane Road, Abbeyfield Road, Redfield Road and Bull Close Road until Sunday 3 May for highways works.
Severn Trent works are continuing on Lindfield Road, where the road is closed between Alwyn Road and Shipley Road until Friday 21 August.
In Nuthall Road, a lane closure remains in place between Western Boulevard and Melbourne Road until Friday 17 July for footway works.
Carriageway resurfacing works are also taking place in Wemyss Gardens and Middleton Boulevard, with road closures and parking suspensions due to remain in place until Sunday 26 April.
Derby Road is affected by a lane closure until Saturday 6 June for resurfacing works, while lane closures in Western Boulevard and Middleton Boulevard are in place until Monday 27 April for highways works.
Middleton Boulevard is also subject to a separate lane closure for resurfacing works until Saturday 26 April.
Temporary traffic lights are planned in several locations. Two-way lights are in place in Haydn Road over the weekend of Saturday 25 April and Sunday 26 April for National Grid works, while temporary lights will be in place at the junction of St Ann’s Way and Woodborough Road from Sunday 26 April to Monday 27 April for highways works.
From Monday 27 April, Glasshouse Street will be closed until Thursday 30 April for surfacing works. Lane closures are also planned in Radford Road from Monday 27 April to Friday 1 May for National Grid works.
Two-way lights will be in place in Brook Street from Monday 27 April to Friday 1 May for footway resurfacing works, while a lane closure will affect Woodside Road from Monday 27 April to Friday 8 May for resurfacing.
Three-way lights are planned in Grangewood Road from Monday 27 April to Friday 8 May for Cadent Gas works. Two-way lights will also be in place in Green Lane, from the junctions of Farnborough Road to Clifton Lane, from Monday 27 April to Monday 18 May, also for Cadent Gas works.
Poulton Drive will be closed from Thursday 30 April to Friday 1 May for Severn Trent works.
Further closures and restrictions are scheduled in May. Lamcote Grove will be closed from Monday 4 May to Friday 8 May for Severn Trent works, while multi-way lights will be in place in Trowell Road from Monday 4 May to Friday 15 May for Severn Trent works.
Valley Road will have a lane closure from Tuesday 5 May to Thursday 7 May, from Ventnor Rise to the high school sports field, for telecoms works.
A parking bay suspension will also be in place from Tuesday 5 May to Friday 8 May from the junction between Daybrook Street and Mansfield Road in a north-westerly direction for 90 metres for Network Rail’s annual testing.
Hungerhill Road will be closed between Linden Street and Woodborough Road from Saturday 9 May to Sunday 10 May for Severn Trent works.
On Monday 11 May, there will be a road closure at the junction of Craven Road and Randall Street to allow a manhole cover to be replaced. Four-way signals will also be in place in Birchover Road and Nobel Road from Monday 11 May to Tuesday 12 May for Severn Trent works.
Lane closures are planned between Bobbers Mill Bridge and Alfreton Road from Monday 11 May to Wednesday 13 May for resurfacing.
Mapperley Hall Drive will be closed from Tuesday 12 May to Friday 15 May for National Grid works.
On Sunday 17 May, Peel Street will be closed for repairs to a telecom mast, while four-way lights will be in place in Redfield Road for Severn Trent works.
St Albans Road will be closed 20 metres either side of the level crossing from Monday 18 May to Friday 22 May for Network Rail’s annual testing.
Road closures and no-stopping restrictions will be in place in Melbourne Road, Robins Wood Road and Aspley Lane from Monday 18 May to Sunday 31 May for carriageway resurfacing works.
A taxi bay suspension will be in place in Upper Parliament Street from Wednesday 20 May to Friday 22 May for the removal and installation of a new bus shelter.
Goose Gate will be closed from Thursday 21 May to Saturday 23 May for Severn Trent works.
From Monday 25 May to Thursday 28 May, Arleston Drive will be affected by a road closure and parking suspensions for highways works. Hungerton Street and Sherwin Road will also be affected by road closures and parking suspensions from Monday 25 May to Friday 29 May for manhole inspections and cleaning.
Goldsmith Street will be closed between Shakespeare Street and Talbot Street from Monday 25 May to Friday 29 May for tram repair works.
On Tuesday 26 May, Park Road will be closed for repairs to a telecom mast. A lane closure will also be in place in Western Boulevard from Tuesday 26 May to Wednesday 27 May to replace a defective manhole cover.
Robins Wood Road will be closed on Wednesday 27 May for Severn Trent works.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time for journeys, follow signed diversions where closures are in place, and check for updates before travelling.
