Nottingham shootings ‘fuelled by social media’ says Police & Crime Commissioner

Four recent gun attacks in Nottingham have been ‘fuelled by social media’ says Paddy Tipping, Nottinghamshire Police and Crime Commissioner.

Three men and two teenagers have been wounded across four shootings in the Radford and St. Ann’s areas of the city.

Nottinghamshire Police have made arrests and seized weapons as investigations continue.

Mr Tipping said that feuds between local drugs gangs are at the root of the problem.
