‘The fire, which was discovered in the ladies toilets on the southern concourse  just after 6:15 am on Friday 12 January, has resulted in damages and financial losses that could run into the millions.

‘As work continues to establish the details around the incident, we are renewing our appeal for the public to come forward with any information they may have.

‘One week on from the fire, British Transport Police officers will be patrolling the station, speaking to members of the public and appealing directly to them for information.

‘We are also particularly interested in any footage that may have been captured on mobile phones or dash cams.

‘We would like to encourage anyone who may have been in the area with access to either device to share any footage they may have captured. This may help us in understating the sequence of events leading up to the incident.
