Nottingham teenagers charged after theft from jewellery shop

Two men, aged 19, have been charged after a ring was allegedly stolen from a Ripley jeweller.

Velentino Cretu-Stanescu, and Elvis Mihai both of Radford Road, Nottingham were arrested on 10 June following an incident at a shop in Oxford Street.

Both were charged with theft from a shop and the former was also charged with  causing grievous bodily harm without intent.

They were remanded to appear at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates Court on 12 June where they were further remanded into prison custody.

The pair will next appear at Derby Crown Court on 12 July.
