Nottinghamshire bus diversions and stop changes for 9–15 November

Bus passengers face diversions, temporary stop closures and delays next week as roadworks continue across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.

The following roundup covers Monday 9 to Sunday 15 November, alongside restrictions continuing beyond that week.

Maid Marian Way demolition works

Temporary NCT stop changes remain in place for services 1, 4, 45/B, 48/A, 77/C, 78 and 79 variants, and 90.

Turquoise services depart from Burton Street stop T7 beside The Cornerhouse. City-bound 1, 4, 48/A and 90 miss stop M5; passengers for 45/B should use M2 instead of the stop near The Salutation.

Trentbarton’s previously announced arrangements move five services to Broad Marsh Bus Station between 8am and 8pm daily during the demolition works:

NCT warns of severe delays, compounded by works at Wheatcroft and Radcliffe Road.

Abbey Road, West Bridgford

NCT lists the closure until Tuesday 10 November, with Green 12/C/E remaining on Davies Road.

Trentbarton also has a notice affecting mainline, rushcliffe villager and the cotgrave following a gas leak.

Buses leaving Nottingham towards Cotgrave or Radcliffe-on-Trent and Bingham cannot turn from Davies Road into Abbey Road. They miss the Abbey Road, Violet Road, Radcliffe Road and Priory Road stops.

Trentbarton has not specified a reopening date in its notice.

Oxclose Lane and Queens Bower Road

NCT services 79 and 87 divert overnight between 8pm and 6am, from Monday 9 November through Saturday 21 November. The final overnight period extends into Sunday 22 November.

Sneinton Hermitage

Red 44 diverts from 7pm until the end of service on Thursday 12 November, using Manvers Street and Daleside Road.
