Nottinghamshire bus services on train strike days

A significantly reduced train service will operate on Saturday 25th June 2022 due to industrial action.

If you’re looking for an alternative way to travel to and from Nottingham from local railway stations, here’s a guide to the NCT bus services available.

All NCT buses accept contactless payments.

Beeston Station

  • Orange 36 runs from Beeston Interchange (approx. 10 minutes walk) to Nottingham City Centre up to every 12 minutes
  • In the City Centre, buses pick up at Victoria Centre (Milton Street) or Angel Row
  • Single journey £2.40, All day travel £4.40

Bulwell Station

  • Brown 17 or Yellow 68, 69 run from Bulwell Bus Station (over the road from the station) to Nottingham City Centre, each up to every 10 minutes
  • In the City Centre, buses pick up at Victoria Centre (Milton Street)
  • Single journey £2.40, All day travel £4.40

Burton Joyce Station

  • Pathfinder 26 runs from Nottingham Road, with the nearest stop Cragmoor Road, up to every 30 minutes
  • In the City Centre, buses pick up at King Street or Victoria Centre (Parliament Street)
  • Single journey £3.40, Day return travel £5.50

Carlton Station

  • Red 44 runs from Netherfield Centre, with the nearest stop on Victoria Road, just down from the Station.
  • Buses run up to every 10 minutes
  • In the City Centre, buses pick up at King Street or Victoria Centre (Parliament Street)
  • Single journey £2.40, All day travel £4.40

Loughborough Station

  • South Notts 1 runs from outside Loughborough Station on Station Boulevard, up to every 20 minutes
  • In Nottingham City Centre, buses pick up at Nottingham Station (Carrington Street) or the Old Market Square
  • Single journey £4.50, Day return travel £6.50

Lowdham Station

  • Pathfinder 26 runs from Lowdham War Memorial, up to every 30 minutes
  • In the City Centre, buses pick up at King Street or Victoria Centre (Parliament Street)
  • Single journey £3.40, Day return travel £5.50

Netherfield Station

  • Red 44 runs from Chaworth Road, with the nearest stop on Victoria Road, just down from the Station.
  • Buses run up to every 10 minutes
  • In the City Centre, buses pick up at King Street or Victoria Centre (Parliament Street)
  • Single journey £2.40, All day travel £4.40

Thurgarton Station

  • Pathfinder 26 runs from Nottingham Road, near the Station Road junction, up to every 30 minutes
  • In the City Centre, buses pick up at King Street or Victoria Centre (Parliament Street)
  • Single journey £4.00, Day return travel £5.90
