The Met Office has issued a further yellow warning for rain across the county.
The Derby and Nottingham area is now no longer expected to see significant rainfall on Tuesday with the southern boundary of the warning moved north.
The warning is in force from 3 am until 4 pm on Tuesday 24 October.
The details are:
‘An area of rain, some of which will be heavy, will move north across the region during Tuesday morning.
‘There remains some uncertainty in the extent of the heavier rain, but given the already saturated conditions, where this occurs further impacts from flooding are possible. 10-20 mm of rain is expected to fall fairly widely, but a few places could see 30-50 mm; these higher totals more likely in Lincolnshire and Humberside.’
