Nottinghamshire museum up for three tourism awards

Bassetlaw Museum is bidding for a hat-trick of North Notts Business Awards thanks to its latest nomination in the Best Tourist Attraction category for 2024.

The awards celebrate the achievements of businesses and organisations throughout North Notts and their contributions to the region.

The museum has previously won the award in 2015 and 2016 and is again appealing to the Bassetlaw public to give them their support by voting for them online.

Sam Glasswell, Curator at Bassetlaw Museum said: “It is fantastic to be nominated again and of course we would love to win!  Bassetlaw has so much to offer visitors and we want to do as much as possible to encourage people to come and stay.

“Bassetlaw Museum tries to have something of interest to everyone, of all ages.  As the nomination came from the public, we are honoured just to have got this far but if you would be kind enough to vote for us, we would appreciate it so much.”
