Nottinghamshire Police sergeant reinstated on appeal after dismissal

On the 16th January 2019 Police Sergeant Jonathan Flint appeared at a Police Misconduct Hearing.

The particulars of this case were reported on the 18 January 2019.

Nottinghamshire Police reported that the panel found that allegations against the officer breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour.

Taken together the breaches amounted to gross misconduct resulting in dismissal from the force.

At a subsequent Police Appeal Tribunal held on 29 August 2019 the panel allowed the former officer’s appeal resulting in Jonathan Flint’s reinstatement to the force as a Police Sergeant.
