Police and council staff are dealing with the incident.
Nottinghamshire County Council said on Friday 25 July:
‘Please be aware that the A617 is currently closed at Micklebarrow Hill in Averham due to a lorry which has shed its load.
‘We’re working alongside Nottinghamshire Police and EMAS to resolve the incident.
‘Thanks for your patience whilst we deal with this.’
