Midday
The late morning and lunchtime period will stay sunny and dry, with temperatures rising quickly. It is expected to reach 27C by 10am, 29C by 11am and 31C by midday.
The “feels like” temperature may reach around 32C by midday. Winds will remain light, turning east to east-south-east and then south-east, at around 3mph to 4mph. Gusts may reach around 18mph at midday.
Humidity will fall to around 40% by late morning and lunchtime, while visibility will remain very good. UV levels will become high, reaching 6 by 11am and 7 at midday, so sun protection is advisable for anyone outdoors.
Afternoon
The afternoon is forecast to be very hot, with sunny spells and some cloud developing at times. Temperatures are expected to reach 32C from around 1pm through much of the afternoon, with the “feels like” temperature peaking at around 33C early in the afternoon.
The chance of rain is still low but increases slightly to around 10% during parts of the afternoon. Winds will remain light to moderate, mainly from the south-east or east-south-east at around 3mph to 4mph, with gusts between 13mph and 18mph.

Temperatures are expected to be around 32C at 5pm, 31C at 6pm, 29C by 7pm and 28C by 8pm. It will stay warm after sunset, falling to 26C at 9pm, 23C at 10pm and 21C by 11pm.
The chance of rain is around 10% early in the evening before falling below 5% later. Winds will come mainly from the east and east-north-east, increasing slightly to around 6mph to 9mph, with gusts between 14mph and 27mph.
Visibility will remain very good, while humidity will rise through the evening from around 26% at 5pm to 62% by 11pm.
